Character Bio format

Hello hello! Here is the character format:

Name: (your rp name, doesn't have to be your in-game name)[/size]

Age: (optional, if the age is important please list)

Race:(charr, human, asura, sylvari, norn. If you want to be a minor race, you can be as long as you have the tonic for it. ex: quaggan or skritt)

Class: (Your class in game. It can be specialized. For example: a guardian can be a templar in the rp. Is there any important details that you feel like you need to list? You do it here)

Bio: (Your character story. If it's a long story, please separate it into paragraphs so its easier to read. Remember: short and easy is just as good as long and detailed!)

Yes, there is! They are common rules so they shouldn't be too restricting on your creative ideas!






COMMON RULES OF ROLEPLAY:

Do Not God-mode

Godmodding is when a character features god-like abilities, such as invincibility or mind control, or other unrealistic powers that don't fit with lore. Besides, a character with flaws can be much more of a interesting character to play!

Do Not Overpower Yourself or Others
You want to be a big baddie? We get it! But having the ability to summon a army in the flick of your thumb is a little too much nor fun. Giving something or someone an unreasonable, unfair, unrealistic, or unbalanced amount of power, can affect the experience of the players around you. True, you can be powerful, But balance yourself. Set your character up with the thought in mind that it could be defeated!

Do Not Metagame
Metagaming is when a player applies OOC-retrieved information to their IC character, such as hearing whispering because you saw the text, and knowing a character's name because you saw their username. This is the most commonly broken rule, it just takes practice!

Have fun!
Most important rule! Be creative with your stories. You want your character to have a soul of a old god or something? Okay! But remember, make it interesting! OP Mary Sue characters can be bland!

If your characters want to fight in rp, go ahead, but ask them in a whisper on how far they want to be hurt. Do NOT kill a persons character without their permission!
